Hong Kong’s vegan pork pioneers Omnipork have released the OmniEat Handmade Dim Sum Series to offer the public with healthier and low-carbon alternatives – incorporating food 2.0 OmniPork while maintaining traditional flavors, as the demand for vegan alternatives in Asia continues to rise.

OmniEat Handmade Dim Sum Series includes two options: OmniPork Pearl Dumpling and OmniPork Bun. They are handmade and incorporate Green Monday’s landmark product OmniPork, a plant-based pork alternative that is R&D in Canada. It is not only a cruelty-free dim sum but also provides protein and fiber while being low in saturated fat, free of cholesterol, MSG and preservatives.

Dim sum is one of the delicacies for the Cantonese food culture, but high-fat or unhealthy ingredients are often used while the preparation of dim sum are often complicated. To enjoy these dim sum simply means reheating them in the microwave for 1 minute; or steaming for 5-6 minutes.

OmniEat Handmade Dim Sum Series are now available in all Green Common stores and E-shop.
