The environmental initiative run by entrepreneur David Yeung, Green Common, has been officially launched in the new shopping mall K11 Musea in Hong Kong, previously known as the Victoria Dockside. The concept of Future Bar focuses on parent-child experience, offering Super Kids Meal Set along with the usual food 2.0 plant-based dishes.
There are several main dishes to choose from for the Superkid Set, including OmniPork meatballs and Alpha Foods Happy Nuggets. Omnipork being the plantbased pork product created by Yeung’s food tech company Right Treat, which we recently reported is now available on long haul Cathay Pacific Flight. Alpha Foods is a Californian company which produces convience foods such as pot pies, and recently raised $7 million in a second investment round.
Both kids options consist of plant-based protein, which is cholesterol-free, hormone-free and cruelty-free. Moreover, Beyond Meat’s Beyond Breakfast Sausage now makes its appearance in Asia. It contains 19 g plant-based protein from pea and other natural ingredients. Other products include Abe’s Vegan Muffin from the United States and Green Common Cold Brew Fruit Tea.
