Go Green Monday

Go Green Monday @ HKIA is a first-time collaboration between Hong Kong International Airport and Green Monday in support of having healthy and green diets on World Food Day and to promote the “Green Monday” idea to residents and tourists at the city.

As Hong Kong’s gateway to the world, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been putting great efforts into becoming “The World’s Greenest Airport”. HKIA has implemented over 120 environmental projects and policies covering a wide range of areas, including the latest collaboration to promote a six-month “Green Monday” campaign at the airport. 57 food and beverage partners and airport lounges have pledged to offer a vegetarian menu option every Monday, or even on a daily basis. With Greater China celebrities, Ms. Vivian Chow and Mr. Leo Ku as our International Ambassadors for the high exposure citywide campaign, travelers and airport staff are encouraged to go green by having vegetarian meals.

The latest initiative of this collaboration – the launch of the new foodie blog “Green Foodie at HKIA” recommends of restaurants and veggie dining highlights at the Hong Kong International Airport. The blog aims to  help more travelers to find out the tasting green dishes at HKIA as well as encouraging more restaurants in HKIA to provide green dishes! Please click here to read the foodie blog!
