Green Anchor Program, training of secondary school students in promotion of low carbon life
The Hong Kong Speech and Swallowing Therapy centre, Green Monday, Baptist University of Hong Kong, Bank of China, Hong Kong and internet radio television HK- FEEL has sponsored the Green Anchor Program, which trains secondary school students to promote low carbon life.
Speech therapists and Miss PY Chan, a famous TV anchor, have provided eloquent training on the concepts of low carbon lifestyles and environmental protection for the secondary school students. Two representatives from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University were invited to share with students according to this year’s theme, about how to implement vegetarian diets in schools.
The Green Anchor Program will be based with trainings of news anchor, which can improve participants’ oral skills in an interesting, yet relaxing way. This year’s programs encourage students to treasure foods, starting with knowledge on various foods.
The program includes 4 parts: i) introduction and sharing by professionals; ii) specified script writing and result sharing; iii) interview technique training; iv) visiting the internet Radio television and a live broadcast.
